SP Symphonic Band presents Musical Delights 29 in Esplanade, 22 JAN

The Singapore Polytechnic Symphonic Band Returns to the Esplanade! Immerse in an evening of glorious sounds in Musical Delights XXIX, with an eclectic repertoire of wind orchestral music. Led by resident conductor Mr. Leonard Tan, the concert features Gustav Holst’s A Moorside Suite, a masterpiece written six years before the composer’s death. Other highlights include James Curnow’s virtuosic Concertino for Solo Tuba, Samuel Hazo’s rhythmically intense Ride, and James Barnes colourful arrangement of The Wizard of Oz.
