wah. seriously i need to know more about the VENTURE ERA company job. from the start, alot of things seem weird. alot. i shall let you guys out there know..
firstly, i received the mail regarding "promoting mineral water". It's a part time job, next month. I thought it may be somehow related to SP, as I received this mail from the school's email, which is given to each and every student. eg, p1234567@sp.edu.sg. You know, Im looking for a job too. So, my friends and I emailed back our details to allow the sender to contact us.
We met up yesterday. The so-call interview is at Robinson Road, their office area. We reached there, and called the coordinator. She showed us to a office. And we were told to fill up our particulars in a form. Wow, I thought so weird, she have not even brief us on anything, and we were told to write our particulars? Ok, the thing is, I kept on asking her what's the job about, what are we going to do.. bla bla bla.
All the questions she did not answer. Wonderful. She kept on
saying the manager will brief us later. Ok, I take that, cool. And wait a minute, the first impression of the office place is,
DAMN NEW?
I went in the manager's office with my the other friend. And there there, a guy in his 20s behind the table.
Manager at age of 22? Impressive. And another important thing about the room. It's so
WELL KEPT. Ok, what I mean?
In the office, there's only one laptop, one "water cleaning system", one table.
AND the table damn clean.
YES. DAMN CLEAN. No files, no documents nothing at all. I wonder what he manages. -_____-" And he interviewed us.. asking what school are we from. Then he claimed he's from SP also.. School of EEE also. I see. He also asked about our CCA.. bla bla bla.. My friend and I kept on asking him what's our job about..
What he can, or what he will reply is "Sales and Marketing" I see. What we wanna know is, what job are we going to do. At least, maybe say something like Data Entry or whatever. But no, he didn't. Our job is so called Indoor job. Well, who knows.
And can you imagine, even after the interview, we don't even know what jobs are we going to do. WOW? He even told us the company will be moving to Indonesia and some other country.. can't remember. Office so new also must move? hmmmm I see.
After our interview, I went ask the lady coordinator what's her pay, how long she's been working in the company.. bla bla.
She gave very little details. Or no details at all. Thanks for the great help down there. By the way, she's in a poly. NP/NYP. We were asked to attend a so-call orientation. That's for us to know more about the products. Well, I see.
Alright peeps, any information about this company? Or the job? -____-"
