woo.. today seems fast... cos 2 hours of practical only mah.. then after that, went to library to do IDEAS business proposal a little.. we went for the DEEE course briefing @ 3.15pm, MLT 2. i have to do a selection thingy online.. which will affect my chances of getting into the engineering group that i want..there are several groups, such as elec-bio, elec-aero, aero-bio, elec-electronics.. hmm bio out for me... aerospace market small.. and i would like to go more into computering.. so i guess i will choose electrical and electronics again.. =\ reserveeee a job for meeeee... sad.
went to band room after the briefing.. makan at fc3.. oh, i had fish and chiips from Dino. haha.. the fish is sort of the best at fc3.. after that, had a master class with raf in the field. ya field. duh. haha.. field!! hmm can hear ur own playing better clearer. then can tackle on the problems. mmm needa brush up my technique.. can play is one thing, how you going to play that snare part is another thing. if you pass snare part to A, he can play. but if u pass it to B, he can play it with dynamics, accuracy, snare tones, accent, style of expressing quite different. almost different bah. hahax.. im gonna be B. get fundamentals right. practice hard. being a percussionist in a band is nv boring. u are surrounded by lots and lots of rythm, it's time to discover more.
The technique, your control.
hmm went to have dessert with a few band members.. oH! u know what, cos the fc4 is closing ma, then i ordered ice kachang.. we were like" aunty, MORe more mORE mOREm moRE!!! !!!" *asking the aunty to give us more stuff..arhahax* wah, then she also quite steady, she put extra lots of stuff seh. haha.. like my icekachang.. SUPER TALL. WOO. lols =x then got more "Ah Ta Ji".. weets~ wah, tell u, the ice kachang really big.. u can't find it in sp man! 100%! but i guess, that will be my first and last time having a BIG ice kachang in sp.. wahaha.. cold cold nice.. very sweet too... as sweet as ........ haha.. =s lols, lame sia randy.
tml sectional wif mr tan... ! our lao ban! hmm i think tml got jazz band.. so have to move up all the instruments to fc5 area.. fc5 wor. aha.. oh ya! ive also done the layout for the IBM BOOKLET le!! although left with some information.. ive printed out 2 prototype booklets for stella liao..
tips for better drumming?? :
play infront of mirror ( so can see how ur grip is, there shld be no gap )
opp side of ur palm shld face u always
listen to ya strokes, make an effort to get things right.
do not depend on bouncing too much, get ur wrist moving. *double stroke*
practice.
the above tips are for me. i type it here to share, and to make myself rmb. of cos. there's more, actually, much much more. haha..
